About Nik…

Nik Bruzzese has been recording musicians since 1999, when he set up a four-track tape machine in his basement and produced demos for his friends. After spending more than a decade as a primary songwriter with pop-punk band Man Overboard and working with producers like Will Yip and Bill Stevenson, Nik founded The Lumberyard Studio with The Early November frontman Ace Enders in 2016. “Some people love being in the studio, and some people hate it,” Nik said. “For me, it’s all about making everyone comfortable in order to get the best performance possible.” When it comes to embarking on a new journey as a member of the storied Gradwell House team, Nik said he’s looking forward to work in such a professional environment. “For years I’ve done the DIY studio life,” Nik said. I know what it takes to put out a quality record on a budget and make things work. After grinding for so long, I’m excited to see what I’m capable of when the Gradwell House is my home. Using their gear and facilities to produce music is an amazing opportunity. It even SMELLS like a nice studio.”
